Askme4Parking Privacy Policy
Personal information we ask for.
No personal information will be asked for until you have finished searching for prices and availability and are ready to confirm your booking. We will ask for your name, telephone number, your postal address and e-mail address, we will also ask for your fax number if you have one. This information is used to make your booking and to send you details of your booking. We will also need your credit/debit card details (card number, cardholder name and expiry date) in order to take payment and confirm the booking on-line. If you are paying by debit card we may also need to take the start date and issue number of the card you are using.
We ask you for your telephone number in case there is a problem with your booking and we need to contact you urgently.
Protecting customer information.
All the information you give to our suppliers is protected by a secure server. The secure server software SSL (Secure Socket Layers) encrypts all information you enter before it is sent to them. The information is only de-encrypted when it reaches our supplier’s server. You can tell their site is secure as a small locked padlock will appear in the bottom left of your browser to show that you can safely send credit card details through their site. Another indicator is that their secure pages will not display a security alert message.
Firewall security software is also in place to protect our supplier’s internal information from the Internet.
Will Askme4Parking use the information you give for direct marketing?
We may use the information you provide i.e. your name and e-mail address for follow up marketing but we will ask you for your permission first. Before and after your holiday we may send you an e-mail with details of other products we offer. If you feel that you'd rather not have any contact with us, apart from any that is necessary for us to give you our normal level of service please e-mail us to unsubscribe.
Will Askme4Parking disclose any of your personal information to third parties?
Askme4parking will only disclose your name and booking details to our suppliers (Holiday Extras) for operational purposes. We will not pass on your details to any third party companies for their marketing purposes.
We won't disclose credit/debit card numbers unless we believe in good faith that the law requires it. Askme4Parking does not retain any credit/debit card information.
Does the Askme4parking site use cookies?
Askme4parking does not use cookies on our site but our suppliers (Holiday Extras) use temporary cookies, which are only used during the booking process.
